Foldies

How to fold the foldie

A foldie, also known as a folding comic, is a style of mini comic that allows all panels of the comic to co-exist on one piece of paper without requiring any cuts. The panels are arranged on two sides of a piece of paper so that when folded up, each panel is its own page. As you unfold the comic, you discover a new page which get increasingly larger until the back page which is the whole backside of the paper.

Others have used this format to do everything from tell a story, illustrateĀ a poem to proposing a project or educating about an issue. Find out more about foldie comics here.

Often people will ask “weren’t you the one who did the foldies?” Here they are. If you’d like to print as share, email awakeningcreatives@gmail.com for raw files.
